U/21 SA Snooker Championships
James Delahunty won the 2001 U21 State Snooker after defending his
title succesfully over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of April. James
topped group A then defeated Jeremy Hopwood 4-1 in the Semi Finals.
James played Tim Martlew in the final who topped group B and defeated
Dax Wasley 4-2 in the Semi Finals.
The Final was a close affair with snooker of a high standard played
by both players. In the end James Delahunty came out on top topping
of his performance with a all time record break for the U21 State
Championships of 70.
